Summer holidays offer the ideal chance to unwind, step away from daily routines, reconnect with nature, focus on self-care, reassess relationships, and rejuvenate.

September signifies a fresh start, one of many we set for ourselves. We often choose milestones like Mondays, the start of a new month, September, or New Year’s Day to mark new beginnings.

Is September one of your new beginnings?

Let’s explore together a few issues to consider.

Do you acknowedge your accomplishments?

Being a mom is a challenging journey on its own. When you add work, single parenting, caregiving, or personal health issues into the mix, it becomes even more demanding.

This imbalance often comes at the expense of our health and wellbeing.

Despite all that we achieve daily, why do we focus on what we haven't accomplished?
Why do we feel guilty for not being perfect or think we could have done better?

We need to remember that no one appointed us superheroes; we did that to ourselves.
It's important to acknowledge our needs and ask for support.

Every day, we accomplish so much, from the smallest tasks to the biggest.
So, let's make it a habit to give yourself a pat on the back each night, hug yourself and recognize your achievements.

Do you feel held back by limiting beliefs and doubts about yourself?

Limiting beliefs are those negative thoughts that hold us back from reaching our full potential and they often stem from past experiences or family influence.

They can affect every aspect of our lives:
▶ Our Career: We might avoid applying for a dream job because we believe we’re not qualified enough.
▶ Our Relationships: We may hesitate to form new connections, fearing rejection or failure.
▶ Our Personal Growth: We might resist trying new things, thinking we’re not capable or deserving.

Here are 3 tips to move forward:
1. Identify and challenge your beliefs:
Start by recognizing the limiting beliefs that are holding you back. Ask yourself, “Is this belief really true?”

2. Replace negative thoughts with positive affirmations:
Practice self-compassion and replace critical self-talk with positive affirmations. Remind yourself of your strengths and past successes.

3. Take action and embrace growth:
Step out of your comfort zone and take small, manageable risks. Celebrate your progress and learn from any setbacks.

Working with a coach will help you navigate challenges while taking care of yourself.

However, this doesn't help and we find ourselves right back to where we started, feeling like a failure.

WHY?

Because the correct approach is to CHANGE OUR MINDSET.

You are more than just a mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, colleague or professional.
